So I didn't make it to the end. I gave up on day 6. I just didn't want to do it anymore and there was no reason to continue except to say that I did it. And you know what? It felt good to "quit". I got what I wanted out of it anyway. I wanted a jump start on my diet. And that is what I got.
I remembered what it was like to eat really healthy foods.
I remembered what it was like to really feel hungry again.
And I remembered what it was like to eat fruit and to taste how sweet that fruit could be.
All in all, I feel successful, even if I didn't finish.
And that steak and cheese with peppers, onions, and mushrooms tasted really really really good last Friday. :)
